Our climate is changing. We are experiencing more frequent and intense natural hazards like wildfires, floods, severe storms, heavy rainfall, drought and extreme heat.

These changes affect the people and places we care about. Natural hazards can damage our buildings, roads and crops and affect our physical and mental health.

We are creating a plan to help our community prepare for natural hazards.

The first chance to have your say is a 5-minute survey.

This survey is open to everyone who lives, works or spends time in Central Saanich, including the W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip) and SȾÁUTW̱ (Tsawout) First Nations.

Go to Survey #1 here.

Please complete the survey by Friday, Jan. 31, 2025.

You submitted the survey. Thank you! What's next?

  1. Take small steps to prepare yourself and your loved ones.
  2. Look out for Survey #2 this spring, when you can give input on solutions and strategies.
  3. Come back to this webpage for upcoming ways to participate (or submit your email address to get updates).
